Besides regular surgeries the Modular OTs are dedicated for all major surgeries like Neuro surgery, Orthopaedics & Joint Replacement Surgery, Cardiothoracic Surgery and Transplant Surgeries (Renal & Liver). down town hospital is the first of its kind to perform Kidney Transplantation programme in the region and since then it is performing Kidney transplantation on regular basis. Recently it has started Liver Transplantation.

Institute of Post Graduate Studies

The hospital is recognized for Post Graduate training in Medicine, Family Medicine, ENT, Surgery & Orthopaedic by the National Board of Examination (DNB). Presently 28 DNB students are undergoing training in the Institute. In addition, it provide 2 years training for certificate course of Diabetology under RSSDI (under Jaipur National University)

Social Responsibilities

down town hospital organizes various Health Camps at peripheral areas to provide free health care services at the door step of the community. Moreover, the hospital is organizing a "Multi specialty Health Mela" in Guwahati from the last 6 years. We run various activities under down town CSR. Presently the activities are directed towards improvement of Sanitation & Hygiene and Water supply.
